Running Heart Tuner under Windows Vista

Windows Vista is known for not willing to run many software environments. Especially there is a wave of validation and activation problems. If you are planning to buy a Vista licence, or even a new computer which in most cases will have Vista on board, we recommend to inform yourself well in advance of the issues around Vista. You don't need Vista to run any professional software currently available on the market. Also it is recommended, do a Google search on "problems with Vista".

Question: does the Heart Tuner software run under Windows Vista?
Answer: yes it does

However: the security system of Vista can cause problems during registration (not during installation!). You can by-pass this by registering the Heart Tuner while in "Safe Mode".

How to go in "Safe Mode":

1 - completely shut down your computer
2 - right after restart, before windows comes up, press the F8 key (best is to repeat pressing it)
3 - then a menu pops up, there you can select "safe mode" with the arrow keys and press "enter"

While in "Safe Mode", register the Heart Tuner as explained in the user guide.

After registration, there is no problem running the Heart Tuner under Vista.

Sincerely,
Heart Coherence team
