A Google search on terms like for example "HeartTuner",
"Heart Tuner" or "Dan Winter" may bring up some
information related to an age old, apparently unresolved copyright
issue about a certain sculpture of Mr. Stan Tenen (Meru Institute)
which Dan Winter claims is based upon a mathematical principle.
It may look e.g. like:
Statements
about the "Heart Tuner" device: Rollin McCraty, Dr.
...He summarizes online discussion in his e-group about claims made,
largely by Dan Winter, about the "Heart Tuner" and about the Institute
of Heart Math and ...
Obviously, the copyright issue has nothing to do with the work of
Heart Coherence team or with the Heart Tuner. The true story is,
that after an initial court assessment, Mr. Tenen appears to have
embarked on a life's mission of prosecuting, harrassing and slandering
Mr. Winter, summarized in his lamentation at http://www.danwinter.com/.
In doing so, he also, maliciously or not, dragged the Heart Tuner
in his campaign. On asking why he thinks this is necessary, he rejects
any responsibility.
Every now and then we get a question about it. In order to take
away any confusion upfront, we feel compelled to clarify a few points:
- Mr. Stan Tenen, Meru Foundation and their associates have nothing
to do with Heart Coherence team (HCT) or the Heart Tuner, nor
any other products or publications of HCT;
- HCT is an independend company registered in Enschede, the Netherlands
and has no legal connection to Mr. Winter;
- HCT acknowledges Mr. Winters entrepreneurship in promoting one
of the core concepts employed in the Heart Tuner, ICC - Internal
Cardiac Coherence;
- Mr. Winter sells his own basic Heart Tuner, which he calls the
"Implosion Group Edition", advises HCT, uses the Heart
Tuner of HCT on his seminars for demonstrations on emotional coherence,
and may of course refer customers to the Heart Tuner PRO-04 series
of HCT;
- HCT is in no way involved, neither directly nor indirectly,
in above mentioned copyright issues between Mr. Winter and Mr.
Tenen;
- HCT has repeatedly urged Mr. Tenen to remove the following webpage:
http://www.danwinter.com/HeartTunerStatements.html. This
page is obviously meant as an effort to harrass Mr. Winter by
means of frivolous and rightout flawed statements
about the Heart Tuner by his academic or non-academic friends.
Mr. Tenen offered to remove this page on the dubious conditions
that we would "turn in Mr. Winter per notarized statement",
plus publish a "Corrective Notice" against Mr. Winter
on our home page. This deal of course never happened.
We thank you for your patience, apologize for any inconvenience
and hope to have duely clarified this issue.
sincerely,
Heart Coherence team,
